Ground-breaking for
"Habitat for Humanity" Home

On November 27, 2001, Habitat for
Humanity, NA Mans Builders, and the City of Romulus broke ground
on a promising partnership designed to provide simple, decent
housing for another of God's families in need.
At the official ground-breaking ceremony, Romulus Mayor Alan
Lambert and representatives from the Western Wayne County chapter
of Habitat for Humanity announced a long-range plan to eliminate
substandard housing in the area.
"We are thrilled,"
exclaimed Sheila Friedrich, Executive Director of Haitat, Western
Wayne. "We have always wanted to live in and serve the
Romulus community, and now God - through NA Mans Builders - has
given us the chance we've been waiting for."
